NORTH CAUCASUS

The North Caucasus is the off the beaten track part of the Caucasus mountains, visited by very few tourists compared to the south countries of Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

I spent over half a year traveling in every single republic and krai of the North Caucasus from The Caspian Sea to the Black Sea, from Dagestan, Chechnya, Ingushetia, North Ossetia – Alania, Kabardino – Balkaria, Karachay – Cherkessia, Adygea to the Krasnodar Krai. It was one of my most memorable trip ever !

From incredibly welcoming and hospitable locals to stunning mountains of the Great Caucasus, mind-blowing stones towers and medieval villages, I highly recommend the North Caucasus to adventurous travellers looking for a real off the beaten track destination.
